Trustees
The Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is responsible for ensuring that Cleves School provides a high standard of education and care for every pupil.
The Trustees do this by:
-
Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction;
-
Holding the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of staff; and
-
Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent.
Governance Structure
All Trustees are directors and Trustees of the Academy Trust. The Trust’s five Members are Susan Foster, Doris Neville-Davies, Jim Graham, Emma Calow and Kim Bergamasco. Four committees meet regularly. The Children’s Achievement and Well-being committee (Chair, Sarah Trinder); the Resources committee (Chair, Elaine Jones); the Admissions committee and the Personnel, Performance and Pay committee (Chair, Doris Neville-Davies).
