Welcome from the Headteacher
The school site willl remain open for vulnerable children and those of keyworkers, with home learning in place for all other pupils. Reception will normally be staffed between 8.00am-4.00pm. We will re-open to all pupils on Monday 8th March.
I am extremely proud to be Headteacher of Cleves School - a school that puts learning and individual achievement at the heart of everything it does. We want every pupil to succeed; to achieve their full potential, be prepared for the future and become confident, thoughtful young people so they leave us prepared for the future challenges of an exciting and increasingly global world.
Everything we do at Cleves is designed to ensure that your child settles quickly into the life of the school and goes on to have a happy, fulfilling and successful time with us. We are very fortunate to have a dedicated and highly professional team of teachers, support staff and governors. We expect the very highest standards from all pupils and our strong school systems ensure that pupils learn in a safe and friendly environment where teachers teach and learners learn. We want the same things that you want for your child. In order to achieve this we rely on our home-school partnership. We encourage parents and carers to get involved in the life of the school and the children’s educational journey. We hope you find our website easy to navigate and manage to find the information you are looking for whilst gaining a feel for our school.
Once again, welcome.
Chris Hodges
