HOME SCHOOL AGREEMENT
Our Vision Statement is further communicated via our Home School Agreement which every pupil and parent signs on joining the school and annually thereafter to reaffirm their understanding and commitment to the schools vision, aims and expectations. This agreement is signed also by your teacher, the Headteacher and the Chair of Governors. Click here to download a copy (pdf)
CODE OF CONDUCT
Our Code of Conduct is issued on joining the school and is signed by each pupil in acceptance and understanding of what is expected of the conduct whilst at school. A similar document is issued each time your child goes on a residential visit and continues these themes but adds specifics for the visit they are attending. A copy is kept on file throughout their time at school. Click here to download a copy (pdf)
PARENT CONSULTATIONS
This is the ideal opportunity for you to meet with your child's teacher to discuss their progress. You can of course contact them at other times but there are three sets of consultations per year at strategic times. The first held after school during October gives pupils the time to settle in their new year group and their teacher gets to know them. In March we currently carry out consultations during the day - these are slightly longer and your child should attend with you. This is a great opportunity for a joint understanding by pupil, parent and teacher and sets the way ahead for the rest of the year. In July a final set of consultations are arranged after school as a round up for the year.
We are a large school and offer a lot of opportunities. This means we generate a large number of letters which are sent home via your children. Often these contain important information and may have short deadlines so you do need to regularly check your child's bag.
However, we will endeavor to keep an up to date list of letters here on the website so if you think you have missed something click here to find it!
(We cannot obviously maintain a record of letters from external providers on the website - check with reception if you think that's what you need)
